I recently read this book & absolutely fell in love with it. I can’t even begin to describe how viscerally brilliant this book is!

There’s such a sense of realism to this book & so many instances of brillance. It’s Holly Bourne’s latest book; about Audrey who documents her personal experiences for her thesis which revolves around why she’s so against stereotypical romantic movies that have shaped our mindset & completely neglect the harsh reality.

Although the main purpose of the book is to contradict everything about romantic movies, it actually proves how almost every element of romantic movies is unrealistic. It has such a powerful & an absolutely incredible conclusion to a seemingly romantic story that leaves you completely awestruck.

Not only is this story enlightening, but also frantic with the best metaphors I’ve ever came across! What I loved the most about this book was that it’s so unpredictable, you think you know what’s gonna happen next but it never fails to surprise you!

There is so much more to this story that I’d rather leave for the reader to explore.

Read this book, people!
